Senior Research Analyst

Katie McAuliff is a mixed methods community psychologist and health services researcher who is interested in how multiple social determinants of health impact marginalized populations, particularly youth and their families. Prior to joining Action Research, she worked as a project director at the Einstein College of Medicine on a large-scale Medicaid redesign project (DSRIP) that focused on addressing the social determinants of health and health disparities. At the American College of Surgeons and as a university-based researcher, she worked on several program and policy evaluations (local, state, and national) related to improving healthcare delivery systems and outcomes.

As a community psychologist, her passion is to ensure that youth and families impacted by social determinants of health receive access to the proper resources and support they need, while also recognizing their strengths and resilience at the individual, family, and community-level. She received her master’s and doctorate in Community Psychology at DePaul University in Chicago.
