Jordan Lombardi

Intern

Jordan Lombardi is a quantitative social science researcher dedicated to understanding complex social systems and contributing to public-interest initiatives through mathematical modeling and data analysis. At Action Research, she supports strategic consulting initiatives, primarily focused on improving foster care placement outcomes.

Prior to joining Action Research, Jordan led and contributed to numerous research projects at UCLA. She developed and fit network models to study a range of social phenomena, including youth civic engagement and patterns of misconduct within the NYPD, and served as Data Coordinator for the War Crimes Investigation Lab.

She also worked as a Development Intern for the Thaddeus Resource Center, where she researched funding opportunities and drafted grant proposal materials supporting transitional housing programs for teen mothers and at-risk youth.

Jordan holds a dual degree B.S. in Applied Mathematics and B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
